Live/Waney Edge Coffee or Occasional Table
Made in our Yorkshire based workshop, are these beautiful live/waney edge coffee or occasional tables. All our products are supplied with the bark attached (we have received no complaints of bark falling off over time). We also offer a choice on 2 or 3 pronged steel hairpin legs, which are powder coated black to give a satin shine that does not chip or fade with time or direct sunlight. All our tables are made to order, with a lead time typically of 10-15 days. Our wood is obtained from sustainable sources, so you know that you are not "harming" the environment with your purchase. We carry a large amount of wood in stock, ready to fulfil your order once received, giving you confidence that we can deliver.
Our tables vary in length up to 1220mm and between 350-450mm in width, (this varies due to the waney edge) and 14 to 20 inches in height (a typical coffee table is 16 inches high). All our tables are made from a single piece of wood typically 40 - 50mm thick (with no joints) and would make a truly wonderful, country cottage addition, to your home.
We plane the wood before using 600 grit sanding disks, then apply two coates of "food safe" Osmo 3032 clear satin hardwax oil (a well known branded product). We then polish to a fine finish ready for delivery. Your table is supplied fully assembled with delivery (if within 30miles) or will need assembling using the pre drilled holes and screws supplied if delivered via courier.
NOTE: Please take note that wood is a natural product designed by nature, and as such there may be knots and/or slight imperfections such as grain dis-colouration or hairpin cracks in the wood which merely adds to the character making it unique. Basic screws azre included for attaching legs, however, you must ensure that these are suitable for the substrate and location of table. It is the buyers responsibility to ensure installation is safely made by a competent person.
