A beautiful and satisfying restoration from us - a child's 70yrs old childs cart complete with original buiilding bricks. We obtained this from a lady who was presented with it on Christmas morning December 1953. SInce then both her own children and grandchildren have all enjoyed this fabulous toy. We have sympathetically restored it and sealing the bricks with child friendly sealer. A wheel was missing and another damaged so we have added 4 x new wheels and matched them with their original colour. On the bottom of the cart is some original scribblings in red pen made by one of the children (the lady did not know who the culprit was) LOL. We left this in place to add to the authenticity of the toy.
We have added ornate string to pull the cart along and left the original manufacturers logo printed on each side of the cart.
This would make an ideal collectors purchase or because we have now made it "child friendly" using non toxic sealer, could be a fabulous present for any child.
